Soy Candle troubleshooting guide.
Melt pool doesn't go all the way to the edge of your container.
You need to use a bigger wick or multiple wicks.
Soy Candle self extinguishes.
Your wick is too small for the size diameter of your container, or you trimmed your wick too short.
Trim your wick to 1/4".
Soy Candle smokes when it burns.
Your wick is too large or needs to be trimmed. Or you have incomplete combustion due to fragance overload in
the Soy Wax.
Wet spots (Soy Wax is pulling away from the glass).
Soy Wax was poured at too high a temperature. ( higher the temperature, the more the Soy Wax will shrink).
It's too cool where you are pouring, your Soy Wax is setting too fast. Always pour in an area that is between
67-75 deg F.
Your additives could be causing excessive shrinkage.
Poor scent throw.
Not enough fragrance oil. We recomend 1.5 oz. wt. per pound of Soy Wax. Be sure that your fragrance oil is suitable
for Soy Wax.
You don't have a complete melt pool. Check the size of your wick.
